With a day job as a New Mexico State Police Officer, Dj Bamf’s passion has always been music. He became a drummer at a very young age, playing in a punk band. He comes from a family of talented musicians, to include well known vocalist Brittney Gamboa (sister), who has been featured on multiple television productions and talented guitarist/pianist Eddie Gamboa (brother). Dj Bamf joined the United States Marine Corps after high school. He was deployed overseas to both Iraq and Afghanistan. Shortly after returning back to the U.S, from Iraq, he began his professional Mixed Martial Arts career. Missing the musician life, Dj Bamf began getting back into the music scene, only to be deployed to Afghanistan. While overseas he and best friend, Dj Zub Zub, began recording tracks utilizing Virtual Dj Software. With nothing but time on his side, he was able to master the software. He began mixing his 2 favorite genres of music, 80’s metal with techno/house. He immediately became recognized as a talented Dj, with the ability to put his own beats together and mix pretty much mix any song imaginable. He returned back to the U.S with a new love and skill for Dj’ing. Bamf realized this was his calling. With an ecstatic and energetic personality, Dj Bamf is able captivate the crowd and deliver an amazing performance. Dj Bamf’s says "Even though I haven’t played a lot of big venues, I’m just as talented as some of the top Dj’s in the game right now. My music speaks for itself. Thanks to my mom, I have been on stage my whole life; this is what I was meant to do. I hope y’all enjoy."
